We have just about completed 2 major site upgrades for two of our clients, AFANA and reallivepreacher.

AFANA
Jethro Consultants was very proud to win the tender to upgrade the www.afana.com website. This is the website for the Australian Football Association of North America, the fan based organisation for AFL in USA and Canada. This is the largest AFL website outside of Australia, and probably the third largest after www.afl.com.au and www.worldfootynews.com.

Technical details: We upgraded from 4.6.10 to 5.6 - a major undertaking as there were considerable database changes between 4.6 and 4.7, and a major change again between 4.x and 5.x. We had to incorporate numerous module upgrades and keep the theme looking very similar while still being able to incorporate the new features available. For now the theme will stay as it is but we will also be tendering in the near future to perform a major theme redevelopment for the site.

Real Live Preacher
Jethro Consultants is also now the technical managers of another not-for-profit website, www.reallivepreacher.com.
We were not able to upgrade the existing database on this site so we took the next best course of action and archived it and created a whole new site in the latest Drupal version 5.6 for the main site. This was the cheapest and quickest option for the site owner Gordon Atkinson. There is still a bit of work to be completed on this site, there are a number if internal links to fix and repair with the archiving of the old site, sidebar block content to organise and some theme tweaking to do, but the hard part has been done. We also moved servers in the process as the previous host was not coping with the daily traffic load this highly popular site was carrying.
